The Mysterious Uluru

Uluru is 348m high and is 9.4km around the base. The part above ground is just the tip of a huge slab of rock that continues below the ground for as much as 6km. The giant monolith has a 550 million year history of upheaval and erosion. It once rested in the middle of a great inland sea.

You can visit Uluru in my novel set in Australia.
